Lived in Fredericktown, Bethlehem (where he united with the congregation), and Christianspring. 1781 married Anna Maria Fritsch, and carried on the milling business at Friedensthal ; later occupied a farm between Friedensthal and Nazareth. His wife died July 7, 1822. Of his six children, four survived : John Frederick, Nathaniel, John Christian, and Anna Rebecca (married to Peter Stoudt [Stout]).
