Joseph Schweisshaupt. xviii,s . 7. Dec. 8 Born May 30, 1764, on the road to Lititz,when his parents were fleeing from pursuing Indians. In his childhood he was in the Nazareth nursery. Married Rosina Busch, of Lititz, June 5, 1797. Of his four children,only one daughter survived. He served as organist and musical director and as a member of the " Aufseher Collegium," or Trustees of the Church.
