The gunstocking shop was built in 1762-1763. It stood near the northwest corner of the settlement, just east of the mill race than ran through the northern edge of Christian's Spring to the mill. The gunstocking trade ended at Christiansbrunn in 1787. An image of the Slaughterhouse has been mis-identified as the Christiansbrunn gunshop.
