Brethren pay large sum of money for refusing to do military service.

November 7th 1777. In the meeting of the Country Commissioner yesterday by Jonas Herzel it was told the brethren, that they for the refusal of doing military service, will have to pay the fixed sum, which is meant for everyone, in 10 days, or they would have to expect execution.
